Sultan Ali Khan
Sultan Ali Khan is an experienced professional with sufficient knowledge, skills and expertise in program planning and management, coordination, monitoring and evaluation, community development, report writing and research. He has worked with well- known international and national organizations, such as UNESCO, IRC, The Aga Khan University Pakistan, Aga Khan Education Service Pakistan, and Mountain Institute for Educational Development Pakistan.
He has done his Master of Education (M.Ed.) from the Aga Khan University Pakistan, and MA and B Ed from University of Peshawar Pakistan. In addition, he has done a number of certificate and diploma courses and has attended training programs within and outside Pakistan, including a course on monitoring and evaluation from National Institute of Education Colombo SriLanka.
Mr Sultan Ali Khan has successfully planned and implemented education projects in different parts of Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. He has been involved in writing different reports for funding agencies, such as EC, Government of Japan, DFID, CIDA, UNESCO, Plan Pakistan, PPAF and ZBNF, and has got sufficient experience in this field. He has worked in geographically tough and remote areas of KPK, Gilgit Baltistan, Punjab, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and in post disaster and post conflict situations. He has also been involved in doing research studies, funded by European Commission, Aga Khan University Pakistan, DFID, Government of Japan, USAID, Plan Pakistan, PPAF, and Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahayan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation.
Mr Sultan can communicate well in English and Urdu and can produce excellent reports as per donors requirements. Moreover he can communicate comfortably in other languages, such as Pashto, Punjabi, Chitrali, and Persian. He has got excellent communication and presentation skills, and I has represented his organizations at national and international forums. He is physically very fit, can work for long hours, can do extensive field work and perform well under pressure.
